Recently joining the Russian Olympic committee, Safin has spent his time observing and understanding his new position.
“I’m getting to know people, I’m trying to know who’s who and to understand things,” Safin told French radio station RMC. “It’s not always obvious. It’s only my second day of work here, but it’s already very interesting.”
